What is Europe’s plan if AI keeps improving rapidly?

What is Europe’s plan if AI
keeps improving rapidly?

AI is improving exponentially and could soon disrupt the economy, international security, and global power balances. Europe needs a plan for such a scenario. That’s why we are writing a ‘Transformative AI Strategy’ for Europe.

About this project

We are a group of people who want Europe to thrive. We think that, while nobody knows exactly how fast AI will improve, AI might have deeply transformative effects very soon. But Europe is not prepared for such fast AI progress – and this threatens the prosperity, sovereignty, and security of Europeans. Our strategy will contain recommendations for European governments and the EU Commission for how to change that. The strategy is an entirely independent effort that we work on in our personal capacities.
